Last week we saw that God's great plan is to give His people new birth through the word of truth. This week James begins to answer the question of how God brings about that transformation in His people. In short, he tells us that we need to not just listen to God's word, but do it. This doesn't mean our transformation is really just self help or self-transforming, that's God's work. And yet, we are called to 'do'. This week we will consider how that works and how God uses this to lead us in a glorious new life.
