One of the Merriam-Webster dictionary’s definitions of a “vibe” is: to convey a sense of a place, a feeling, etc., and the definition of a tribe is: a group of persons having a common character, occupations or interest. So, I ask you to think about the sense of feeling you put out into the world, your “vibe.” Is it one of openness, acceptance, friendship, caring, joy, happiness and love? Or is it a “vibe” of closed mindedness, non-cooperative, demanding and joyless?
If you’re not sure how to answer that question, think about the people in your life. Your “tribe” those individuals who are there supporting you, encouraging you through the ups and down of life. What is the common character or interest you have with those individuals? How would you describe those people in the front row of your life? Your “tribe”? By describing your tribe members, it also describes you. If you don’t like what you discover about them, what type of “vibe” do you need to exude to change that?
