This week on the Courageously Unconventional podcast, I'm joined by Naomi Rose. Naomi is a food business strategist and baking coach who helps people achieve baking success. She is the former owner of an award-winning café, bar, and bakery. She is now on a mission to help as many people as possible build successful baking businesses, as well as become confident home bakers.What I found striking about Naomi's story is how resilient we as humans can be. Naomi shares her incredible story of opening up a café and bar within a span of 3 months, with zero experience running her own business and zero experience working in the hospitality industry. I truly believe that we as humans can figure out nearly anything when we set our minds to it, and Naomi is evidence of that. She also shares how she navigated some of her worst case scenarios along the way, including having to shut down her business during the pandemic and figuring out what to do next. I know for a lot of us the fear of failure is something that holds you back. But with some mindset shifts, what could be deemed as a failure can be transformed into motivation for what comes next.
