We land in John 17, also known as the High Priestly Prayer, as the drumbeat of the cross is getting louder. The Garden of Gethsemane, the betrayal, the humiliation, the violence, unimaginable pain, and death.

But first, Jesus goes to His Father and prays for Himself—and us. Soak that in. Jesus, who is about to be crucified, takes his last moments to pray for us, His followers.
