Episode Synopsis

Why would God justify ungodly people? What is His motive? These questions are difficult for us to wrestle with when we think of God with the limitations and frailty of humanity. But God is not like us. He is greater than we are. In this section we are confronted with the truth that God is motivated by love. The justifying work of Jesus on His cross is the most transcendent, unique and powerful display of love in human history. Divine love is not like human love. The kind of love that God has is intrinsic within Himself and is not predicated upon the seeming beauty of the object. Love is not something that happens to God, it is something that He is. If you ever doubt the love of God, look no further than the cross and be reassured that He loves you more than you could imagine.
