If you want freedom from the penalty, power, and presence of sin there is only one way to get it; by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone. God has the same solution for us all because we all have the same problem. Romans 9 and 10 work together to display the sovereignty of God and the responsibility of man working together as simultaneously true. There are two biblical ways of attaining righteousness, either the righteousness of the law, or the righteousness of faith. The gospel message delivered by God's messenger leads us to the truth that God's word reveals, the only valid option we have is to believe in Jesus and receive the righteousness of faith. People hope in all sorts of things to make them right with God, their own sincerity and devotion, their good works outweighing their bad ones, and even hoping that God just doesn't exist. The blood of Jesus that was poured out on His cross is the only way your sins are forgiven, and His resurrection on the 3rd day after secures your eternal destiny in Heaven.
