Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life – a life that we could never live in our own strength. And then, He died a sacrificial death so that we can inherit eternal life, even though we don’t deserve it. Today, Pastor Cody draws our attention to this beautiful truth. He reminds us not only of Jesus’ strength but also of His selfless love. Jesus didn’t have to help us at all. But He chose. While Jesus demonstrated what it means to live a holy life, He also died for us, recognizing that we were unable to live up to His holiness.
