Listen "1 Samuel 12"
Episode Synopsis
There is a major transition happening in Israel with Samuel as the final judge handing over responsibility for the nation to Saul as the first king. While the people and Saul are celebrating at his inauguration, Samuel preaches his farewell sermon to the people. Everything that Samuel says can be traced back to what 2 Timothy 2:13 states, "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself." God's faithfulness is tied to and dependent upon Himself and His character. This is massively significant, because this means that God's love, devotion, and faithfulness to you and me is not subject to our performance...whether it is good or bad. God's unending faithfulness to you , demands your faithfulness to Him. Jesus willing sacrificed Himself in your place to pay for your sin and to make you holy. His love is greater than you think, it goes further than you would expect and it endures longer than you can imagine.
