Episode Synopsis
Amanda McGrory attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a dual sport athlete to play wheelchair basketball and compete as a member of wheelchair racing team. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Library and Information Science. She competed in her 4th Paralympic Games last month in Tokyo to conclude her career as an elite athlete, racking up seven Paralympic medals and over 25 marathons along the way. She has been an active with Move United Junior Nationals and today serves as the archivist at the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
