Let's face it. Caregiving is challenging enough without the added stress of difficult people. Sometimes we view people as difficult because we fail to understand their behavior. Why are they acting in a way that goes against what is good for them? Maybe they have a good reason for taking their position, and the only way you can learn is to ask questions.  Dealing with difficult people creates stress that will take a toll on you.
