We’re called to be disciples of Jesus, not just to believe in him and what he’s done, but to follow him. Yet often enough, following Jesus is marked by our failures and struggles that make us feel guilty, ashamed, and not good enough. The story of Peter reminds us that perfection is not a qualification for being a good disciple. In fact, it’s in his failures where Peter learned what a true disciple is. Through the eyes of Peter we will experience his failure, restoration, and examine the Christian life through his letters.
