This past Sunday, August 25 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, Dr. Barry Jenkins preached for us from Jeremiah 29:1-14. He began a three-week mini sermon series titled Finding Our Purpose in Life. All of us ask or have asked God at some point in our lives to show us what our purpose is.
Dr. Jenkins noted three mistakes we often make when we’re crying out to God about our purpose:
We doubt that God really has a purpose for our lives.
We are afraid to discover God’s purpose for our lives.
