Listen "VISION 2020: Don't Look Back"
Episode Synopsis
Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, seeks to be a church that's becoming community in Christ. In this fourth and final sermon of Pastor Craig's response to our VISION 2020 sermon series, he returned to Hebrews 11:8-16 again. In the previous three sermons, we see several truths:
1. We must admit that we're strangers in this world.
2. We are temporary here.
3. We must focus on the future.
4. We must not look back; we must fix our eyes on Christ.
Everyone is susceptible to the backward pull. Jesus himself was tempted in the desert to "look back." But he did NOT look back. He set his face like flint toward Jerusalem and the cross.
