With popular culture constantly mocking meekness, who really wants to be considered meek? This past Sunday, June 24 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, our senior pastor continued our Matthew sermon series with the third Beatitude in Matthew 5:1-5. He listed seven characteristics of meekness based on seven snapshots of Jesus' life since he embodied meekness. True meekness is complete submission to the will of God for the benefit of others. So, will you be meek?
