Listen "Intentional Warriors"
Episode Synopsis
For this past Sunday, May 21 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we continued in Deuteronomy 33 looking at the blessing of the tribe of Benjamin. Though we may want to stay safe or even view ourselves as helpless victims, we're called to be intentional warriors fighting the good fight of faith. Benjamin's place was in battle, as we saw in his original blessing in Genesis 49:27, but security comes from God and from resting in God.
In the battle is where Benjamin experienced God. Where is the battle? We fight for truth, genuine love, holiness, our identity in Christ, and faith. We're called to fight, yet we do not fight alone. The Lord is with us, the Lord is for us, and the Lord carries us between his shoulders.
