Our senior pastor continued in Deuteronomy 33 this past Sunday, August 20 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, focusing on Asher's blessing as part of our Deuteronomy sermon series. Because Asher has the favor of his brothers, he has a unique opportunity to point people to the Lord. So we, when we're liked and favored, have an opportunity to point others to the Lord. Jesus seeks healthy restored relationships for us, and he's placed "people of peace" in our lives. These people of peace are those who are open to us, know we're Christians, and like us anyway. We cannot squander the favor we have with others; we need to stay where people are open to us and tell them the gospel.
