Listen "Work and the Beautiful Life"

Episode Synopsis

On average, in a given day, an American spends roughly 9 hours working and commuting, just under 8 hours sleeping, almost 3 hours in leisure activities, nearly 2 hour eating, drinking, cooking and cleaning, and almost an hour grooming. Most of our days are filled with pretty normal stuff. I guess that’s the definition of normal, the stuff we do everyday. We tend to count our success and significance by the big victories; the victorious moments on the mountain peaks. However, we spend a lot of time in the ordinary. The vast majority of our time is spent doing everyday tasks at work, commuting, sleeping, eating and drinking, preparing what we eat and drink, grooming, shopping, etc. How are you feeling about your ordinary, your every-day?If we are going to live beautiful lives we need to know how to think about the ordinary. Is it significant or are we just wasting our time?God has a plan for your normal. There is power hidden there.I can’t wait to worship together this Sunday.Pastor David
