#MeToo. These two words have dominated much of the news over the past few months and carry a lot of weight. They reveal both the deep pain and abuses of sexual freedom, while also giving us hope that certain sexual acts will not and should not be tolerated.This Sunday we are continuing our study of 1 Corinthians by looking at chapter 6 verses 12-20. In this section of his letter, the Apostle Paul is addressing the sexual immorality of the Corinthian cultural. It doesn’t take long to make the connection that our modern culture, two thousand years later, is still struggling with some of the same issues.Read, meditate, and pray through this passage. Reflect not just on sexual sins that have caused you or others around you pain, but take the time to reflect primarily on the type of identity Christ has given you and who your body belongs to. Then ask yourself how you can live into that identity, specifically related to your sexual actions and/or the sexual actions of the culture around you.I look forward to worshiping with you all together on Sunday!Pastor Adam
