Sin always leads to exile. It led to Adam and Eve living in exile, east of Eden. It led to Israel living in exile, east of Eden. We shouldn’t be surprised when we sin, we feel like we are living in exile, east of Eden. This Sunday we will continue our Bible in a Year series by focusing on Israel and Judah’s exiles in 2 Kings 17, 24, & 25. As you read those passages, consider how your actions are not that different from Israel and Judah’s. Then take a moment to reflect on the glimmer of hope that the writer of 2 Kings offers in the last four verses of the book.I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday! Pastor Adam
