I love being great. I bet you do too. I think about it a lot. I would imagine you do too. The problem is, I have found greatness and glory in my life to be elusive. But I haven’t given up yet. I am still pursuing glory. I am still trying to make a name for myself.All of us have a glory problem. We were made for glory. And yet we continually fall short of the glory we desire for ourselves. Instead of finding our glory in God, instead of finding God glorious, we pursue our own glory in this world to our own demise.This Sunday we will talk about the story of Simon the Great in Acts 8:9-24. Simon wanted to make a great name for himself, like we often do. But he failed. On Sunday, we’ll look at our glory hunger and the only thing that can satisfy it.Pastor Chad Brewer
