Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.This episode marks my inaugural entry for independent RPG month! For the month of July I will be focussing each episode on non-WotC or Paizo RPGs. Let the big names rest this month while the spotlight gets shared by smaller studios and lesser known games! In this episode I have an overview of a number of really big IPs that have had official RPGs made for them by relatively small studios, which is an interesting trend in this industry. Along with my overview of these big licensed games by small studios, I also focus in a little closer on one particular RPG that is relatively new, based on a major movie IP!
