Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!I think everyone has one or two video game series or franchises that they would love to dive into, but just don't have the time commitment available to put into it in order to do it right. This week I am talking about some of the franchises I always want to get into, and sometimes make plans on how I can accomplish it, but ultimately I am just unable to take the dive on. Whether it is due to impossibly complex narratives that are near impenetrable now, or archaic gameplay that makes it difficult to get caught up on older entries, these series still call to me and entice me! At the end of the day, I just need to take the plunge, but I always hesitate with these ones!
