Multiple drivers were going off and it tested and pushed everyone to their limits. The end of the race came down to a tire strategy of whether to go onto dry tires or stick with the wets. In Hypercar, Porsche won the race while staying on wets for the entirety. In GT3, McLaren took the win while switching to dry tires.F1 went to the temple of speed this past weekend, Monza, where Verstappen dominated Qualifying and the Race. The talk of the race though was a message delivered from the McLaren pit wall to instruct Piastri to "let Lando by".
