Today we witness one of the most dramatic transformations in the Bible - the conversion of Saul - which turns the church’s greatest threat into one of its greatest gifts. What we should also be aware of is that God does exactly the same with us. Because of his intimate love for us, he has called us to him through his sovereign power, just like he called Saul.
