After failing to bring the Ark Of The Covenant to Jerusalem in the past, David learns from the past and transported the ark the way God instructed. After taking the first tentative six steps, he stopped and worshipped God.
Like us, David recognised that there is nothing he could do to stand in the presence of the Holy God, but in God's mercy and compassion, He has provided the way.
