Disappointing draws, massive defeats, and a couple FA cup semi-finals made this quite the interesting weekend in English football. Friend of the podcast, Joel joins us this week to help us break down all the action. The weekend kicked of in North London where Arsenal were thrice shocked by Southampton. Until the 88th minute, Arsenal were down two goals and looking at defeat to the last place team in the league until two goals in two minutes helped salvage Arsenal's pride. Newcastle thoroughly demolished Tottenham in the first twenty minutes, going up 5-0 within twenty-one minutes. In the FA Cup, both Manchester teams were victorious and we will see the first ever Manchester Derby in the FA Cup Final.

We round out today's episode with a look towards Wednesday's top of the table clash between Arsenal and Manchester City. With defeat for the Gunners spelling almost certain doom on their title hopes, Mikel Arteta's side will need to overcome one of the greatest footballing sides of the last five years. City knows that a loss would cede control back to their London opponents. A huge game at the top of the table which promises to be a grand occasion.
