Listen "Quit Holding On to the Past"
Episode Synopsis
How often do you try to multi-task? Rachel calls this "half-assing." Without giving our whole selves to something at least one this will suffer. In the same way, we can't invest fully in our future if we are holding on to the past and focusing on moments that are gone in our lives.
After two days of singing "One Shot" by Eminem to herself, Rachel discusses in this episode how our sadness, pain, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that we carry in our backpacks as we travel can lift us rather than weigh us down. And, when we try so hard to hold on to moments that pass, slipping through our fingers, we only stand still in our lives looking backward rather than remaining present and journeying forward.
