Listen "Ep. 1 • I Would Never"
Episode Synopsis
Within 48 hours we ended up with replies from 225 Black women. The ask was for 15.
Note: in this episode, Jayne misidentifies Frances Ellen Watkins Harper as the first Black woman to be published as a poet in the United States. In actuality, Phillis Wheatley was. While Frances’ contributions to Black literature remain vitally important and valuable, Phillis deserves recognition of her hard-won accomplishments!!
