Dr. Casperson was born on the shores of Lake Superior. Not literally, she was born in a hospital. In Duluth, MN.She went to college and medical school at the University of Minnesota, and then moved to Denver, CO to do a six year urology residency and meet the love of her life, Dave.She specializes in urogynecology, which addresses urological conditions specific to female patients, such as stress urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal atrophy related to menopause, sexual health and other pelvic health concerns. Dr. Casperson is also an expert in InterStim® therapy and Botox® injections for bladder leakage, urinary incontinence, and incomplete bladder emptying, as well as vaginal laser therapy treatment for genitourinary symptoms of menopause.She is a proud member of the American Urological Association, International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and Society of Women in Urology.Dr. Casperson also has her own podcast, You Are Not Broken.
