He was 26 years old, driving Cab, a path he got into because he didn’t have the high school marks good enough for Community College.On a whim Des went to see Kent Sheppard at the real estate office across the street. Neither had met before. Over a short period of time Kent showed Des that he believed him. “And that made me believe in myself,” Des admits. Soon Des earned $50,000 in a single year in real estate. At the time that felt like a mountain top.
