In the early part of my journey - researching this "Catholic thing" I had to look at my entire life, all my beliefs and reconcile myself with God. Why? I found out that I had many Mortal Sins on my soul and I wasn't going to take the chance and gamble with my eternal salvation. Even if this "Catholic Thing" is wrong (which after my research I KNOW it is NOT) I wasn't willing to take any chances.  So the second Sunday (Divine Mercy Sunday) I went to Confession after 26 years. This is a serious, deep and challenging episode and a little bit longer, but it is so important.
