Listen "Denver's Mayoral Candidates on Colorado’s Housing Crisis"
Episode Synopsis
Housing, or the lack of it, is an issue impacting everyone across the state, and the Denver Metro. This week on Real Talk with Denver 7 and CPR News, we’re looking at housing through the lens of Denver’s two mayoral candidates: Kelly Brough and Mike Johnston. Housing was the first issue discussed between the candidates at a recent debate hosted by CPR News, Denverite, Denver 7, and The Denver Post. Jonathan Cappelli from the Neighborhood Development Collaborative, Nola Miguel from the GES Coalition, and outgoing Denver City Council member Robin Kniech break down the issues standing in the way of creating more affordable housing across the city, and how the Mayoral candidates stack up on their ideas for change.
Real Talk airs on CPR News and KRCC on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. and Mondays at 6:30 p.m. The TV show airs on Denver7 on Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs on Local3 on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and Sundays at 6:30 p.m.
