On this week's episode of More Than A Walk, we are joined by the co-founder of the African American Male Wellness Agency, Pamela Gregory, and the lead for the Uplift Her Women's Wellness Event, Tracey Sigers, to talk about Saturday's Uplift Her Event.
On this episode, we get into the weeds about UpLift Her, talking about what led to the first event, how the agency came to adopt it as an initiative and our mandate to uplift the women in our community. With UpLift Her, the Agency is working to close the gap on women's health disparities. This is a day dedicated to health screenings, vaccinations, and fun physical activities! Also, Uplift Her will be honoring women that make an impact in the community.
This year, we are honored to have U.S. Representative Joyce Beatty join us as the Honorary Chair. UpLift Her is free and open to the public.
