Listen "Tariro Mavondo"
Episode Synopsis
Tariro Mavondo is one of those special, multi-discipline artists that don’t come around too often. She’s just as comfortable taking on mainstream acting roles as she is performing spoken word and writing poetry. I mean, aren’t we all? Alongside her solo creative career, Tariro has always harboured a desire to uplift those around her as well. With the unprecedented ruling out live performance, the “uplifting” aspect of her life has only become a greater focus, with Tariro providing direction, training and guidance to young Victorians in her role as co-artistic director of Western Edge Youth Arts.
