Listen "12 // Friendships & Fallouts with Allison Norris"
Episode Synopsis
Friendship.
What does it mean to be a good friend? How do we navigate friendships when things get hard? How do we connect when there are hurt feelings, miscommunication, friend group drama, misunderstandings, etc.
In this episode we looped in one of our very faves, Allison Norris — and it doesn't hurt that she is a L.M.H.C/Therapist.
We decided to open up and share the highs and lows of our friendship in our 20’s and then walk through a big falling out we had in our early 30’s — as a way to provide insights, tools, tips and tricks to consider and learn from. This one was scary but we unearthed a lot, healed old wounds and learned new things about ourselves.
This episode felt vulnerable and some moments were tough to discuss because there was more than the two of us involved. In fact, the prep and recording of this episode forced us to have some uncomfortable but necessary conversations. So — we hope this episode provides some new perspective, sounds off the ah-ha’s and gives you the tools (or at least refreshes them) to be a better friend And create healthy boundaries within your friendship.
Xx,
Ash + Dan
