In this episode we completed Chapter 23 which talked about the 7 feasts God instructed the Children of Israel to keep annually. In Chapter 24 we read about how the Priest were to keep the lamps burning in the tabernacle. We also read about how God instructed His people to put 12 loaves of flat bread on the table of shewbread weekly. The last part of the Chapter dealt with a blasphemer who was stoned (capital punishment). To blaspheme is to speak against God’s nature, His character or His attributes. One thing we should take from this lesson is the obedience of God’s people. At this point in their journey, they did what God told them to do.
