In this lesson we read about the procedures for becoming clean if you had a skin disease. We also read about how those who were found to have leprosy were put outside the camp to live in isolation so that they would not contaminate others. We also learned that contaminated clothing had to be burned if they were not redeemable. The application we take from this lesson is that sin is like leprosy. We were all contaminated by the disease of sin. We were outcast and separated from God. Oh but Jesus, our High Priest came and examined us, touched us, and healed us of all our diseases! It is because of Him that we can go boldly before the throne of grace. This same Jesus will come back for us and change us into His image! And we shall forever be with the Lord.
