Listen "Deuteronomy Chapters 15:12 - 16:8, Episode 189"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode Moses tells the Israelites that after 6 years of service, they must release their servants (fellow Israelites who willingly agreed to be their servants). They are also reminded that the first born (animal and child) belongs to God. In Chapter 16, they are reminded to celebrate the Feast of Passover annually. The Israelites celebrated this feast so that they would always remember how God delivered them from Egyptian slavery. Although we are not obligated to celebrate any of the Jewish feasts, we are told by Jesus to remember how He died and shed His blood for us. We do this every time we partake of communion. See Luke 22:19-20. #canaan #moses #christian #promisedland #passover #communion #release @readingthroughthebiblewith3242
