In this episode, we expanded on what we talked about last week and moved into what makes Tier 3 interventions different and how to implement them in school setting. We discuss different ways that Tier 3 could be approached, and how teams arrive at moving a student to Tier 3.Finally, we discuss what could happen if a student continues to be unsuccessful, despite Tier 3 interventions.One major take-away from the episode is that RTI is not a path to special education, though some educators and parents may feel this way.
