Shaming in community woke me up to the deep corruption in the woke mindset. Here I share what it means to me to do my work from the lens of relationships, without needing the label of allyship or anti-racism. (These are terms of woke culture)
I'd rather focus on healthy relationships person-to-person without judgement, rather than a system that breaks people down into pie charts of their color and genitals. Relationship is allyship.
These words are a story shared in 2022, falling out of me during my descent out of the tornado of woke culture. In this story I also share what community and healing really and truly means, what ancestral healing and medicine work really looks like. When we are aware and can pay attention and work on ourselves, we can free ourselves from the chains of corruption and manipulation. We can begin to look deeper and question the things we take as truth.
