Episode Synopsis

The comfort of a parent nurtures the child and causes growth and stimulation like no other. It is also self evident when a child doesn’t have the maternal and paternal love of good parents. It’s harder for them to thrive learn grow the nourished, physically as well psychologically.

This applies to Pastor ships as well. The pastor is the parent of the flock. He is the anointed individual to plant and birth and oversee the flock. The constraining love of God and him protects that flock nurtures that flock and is amongst the flock and does their due diligence to know the state of their flock.

A hyper critical minister who constantly corrects and constantly critiques and constantly points out error is their own worst enemy. Only in court Christians have the ability to endure such nonstop criticisms and even they need a break every once in a while.
Amazes me to see pastors, who desire their church to grow, and 90% of their sermons are correction criticism what the flock has to do and even the more dangerous ones blame their flock for their church for not growing.

Good pastors understand one thing the anointing of the Holy Spirit the very first adjective Jesus gave of the Holy Spirit was the comforter. This is the heart of all ministry. This is the heart of all Christianity comforting people convincing them that they are valuable, precious, and unique. Once the subordinate understands and believes that the father of the house, the pastor, the mother of the house truly loves them then correction can be done that will produce development of character and a more rooted individual in the love of God and in the word of God.

Babies thrive with good loving parents that are connected and amongst them it is the same with the flock. If a pastor only goes out and preaches and teaches and then leaves, the pastor is doing their flock of disservice. The babies will not grow under such lack of attention, comfort affirmation, and thus, the pastorship becomes the problem of why the flock isn’t happy, healthy, and producing good fruit for the father.

The art of encouraging and comforting and exhorting others, and pointing them to Jesus, pointing them to the word is the nucleus to a happy healthy church and hyper criticism will only stall the growth of a church.
