Linder, participating artist in Play What’s Not There, talks to Professor Surinder Singh, musician and founder of the Raj Academy, about the philosophy of Sikh music and its relation to art practice. The ancient tradition of Naad Yoga ­– a yoga that focuses on sound and its resonance in the body, of which Singh is one of the most eminent practitioners and teachers – seeks to bridge music and the sacred, a key concern in Linder’s work and of this exhibition.
