Welcome to series 2 whereby I speak to three young Ethiopian men on topics which require broken worlds thinking.  The second in the three part series is episode 107 with  Mathias Abdissa.
Mathias is an entrepreneur, engineer, and product builder with a very solid engineering background, who has lead and built financial, e-commerce, real estate, and educational products.  In the past he founded an e-commerce startup and generated $0.3M in revenue in 16 months and under 4 employees with $0 capital.  He also founded a Saas startup and lead a team of 5-8 engineers to build software applications for hardware components.  He has collaborated with other senior product managers to strategise product releases, bug fixes, marketing and sales materials. He has a global network which spans China, UAE and the Philippines for e-commerce and consulting businesses.'  As an entrepreneur he is very passionate about solving problems by leveraging engineering, product, and business experience.  His current interests are in e-commerce and blockchain/cryptocurrency.  In the crypto space he is fascinated by stable currencies, public and private chains, and remittance applications.

Mathias is currently doing business development across the African continent for Reserve, a company building a stable, decentralized currency.
