There's a Skeeter with her progressive views wrapped in Southern manners. Then there's Aibileen's wisdom that's as rich as her tone and of course, Minnie's sass and strength. So I think the author has really nailed the nuances of each personality. And the humor and the pain and the resilience of these characters come alive through their conversations."
