Isobel Heyman, BSc, MBBS, PhD, FRCPsych Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London; Honorary Professor at the Institute of Child Health, University College London. Dr Heyman has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital part-time since 1998 and full-time since 2012. Over the same period she has also worked as a consultant at the Maudsley Hospital, where she continues to hold an honorary position. She has a particular commitment to the detection and treatment of emotional and behavioural problems in children who also have long-term physical health problems, such as epilepsy. Dr Heyman received the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ ‘Psychiatrist of the Year’ award in 2015.
