Listen "#782: The Hardest Thing"
Episode Synopsis
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Perhaps you’ve run a race or climbed a mountain. Those are certainly incredible accomplishments. But forgiving someone can be one of the most difficult things to do. That’s because forgiveness requires letting go of the hurt, anger, and bitterness you hold deep inside. And when you’ve been wronged by one of your own children, that pain stings even more.During these times, shift your perspective. Colossians 3:13 is a reminder that you should forgive others because Jesus forgave you. This doesn’t mean offering forgiveness will ever be easy, but it’ll always be the right thing to do. And when it comes to forgiving your own children, ask God for extra grace and help in time of need. For more encouragement and parenting advice, visit Trail Life USA or RaisingGodlyBoys.com.
