WIBA’s Co-President Freni Jivani and Corporate Relations Director Nimeesha Fernandes sit with Meher Engineer, a Brand Manager at Lactalis Canada, to learn more about her Marketing career in Consumer- Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry. Meher started off her career at Coca Cola after undergrad and talks about the importance of a personal network during job-seeking and sharing your learning objectives in the workplace to help you develop skills and experiences to advance your career. After working at Coca Cola for a little over two years, Meher started working at Lactalis Canada. Meher tells us more about a day in the life and the brands she manages. Meher shares some of her challenges and how she has overcome them. We also learn about key skills that are essential to succeed in Brand Management. Additionally, we discuss the changes in Marketing in the CPG industry overtime including digital marketing.
