HER STORY Alexia Gonzalez is a dynamic communications specialist, on-air talent, and digital creator based in Tampa Bay. With a career spanning bilingual media, multimedia hosting, digital marketing, and public relations, she combines her love for the arts and her strategic expertise to craft engaging, impactful content. Alexia’s journey began at a young age with a love for acting, music, and writing, leading her to work in both English and Spanish entertainment reporting, alongside a Billboard-charting pop single with Sony Records. After putting her performance career on pause to pursue a master’s degree in multicultural marketing and digital studies from Florida State University, Alexia ventured into the world of travel and lifestyle public relations and marketing, working with some of the world’s leading travel and hotel brands, ranging from Hard Rock International and Marriott to Party City and Domino Sugar, to name a few. Alexia traveled the world leading media trips, FAMS, TV segments, hotel openings, press conferences, celebrity events, immersions, and VIP events and activations. After moving to Tampa Bay, Alexia shifted to focus on hyper-local - perfecting her skills as the social media manager at The Dali Museum, before becoming a full time entrepreneur, content creator and, on-air host. Alexia is the founder of The Gala Life, a local luxury lifestyle social media guide and platform, The Gala Group, a bilingual creative communications firm, and St. Pete Gals, a creator community designed to empower local female entrepreneurs. Her expertise has allowed her to collaborate independently with brands like Visit Florida, Hilton, Disney, and more, while also working as a fashion host on the Home Shopping Network (HSN), where she’s launched international brands on-air.
Alexia’s love for storytelling continues to inspire her work, which is rooted in connecting with key audiences and cultivating enduring relationships.
