At one point in history, Australia was home to more than 250 languages and some 800 dialects.Colonisation and cultural suppression have seen most of those languages become endangered — or lost altogether.But in Aboriginal Languages Week — and as the ABC recognises deep time history and its connection to Australia's present and future — we wanted to speak to two First Nations men fighting back.Guests:Daryn McKenny is the founder of the Miromaa Aboriginal Language & Technology Centre .and the PULiiMA Indigenous Language and Technology Conference.Dr Callum Clayton-Dixon is an Anaiwan language revivalist and a research fellow at the University of Technology Sydney.
