David Laws, appeared on Radio FM88 Australia - Dreaming The New Dream Show 24.08.23 about his career writing advertising material for a well known Sydney newspaper that morphed into becoming one of Australia's most loved & renown full time spiritual gifted Flower Readers.
In the course of the show David speaks briefly about how he and his former wife appeared on the show Married but Gay. Andrena asked David would he like to come back on air and elaborate on what its like to be Married but Gay, so todays show is all about that journey.David is a proudly gay man who battled the truth of his sexuality (as so many people do!) for almost half his life before he came out as a gay man to the world at age 46 & after being married for 20 years & having a beautiful daughter.
As you can well imagine, living a lie is such an incredibly difficult & tremendously heavy burden to carry in life. It’s a heart wrenching burden that if not addressed can lead to illness, depression & in the worst cases, suicide. We live in such a judgemental society that dictates what the acceptable social norms are & if you don’t confirm to those societal ideals then you run the risk of being a society outcast & being judged for just trying to be who you were so beautifully & magnificently born to be! In our special podcast, David is going to share the fascinating story of his gay journey, his journey from living a lie as a straight man to living a life that’s now filled with joy, happiness & tremendous inner peace!
